I have worked in the Social Services field for over 35 years, with a focus on healing from the impacts of trauma since 2012. My journey has included ongoing professional development in trauma, grief, loss, and becoming a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP).
Through years of volunteer work with Victim Services as a Crisis Responder and Team Leader, I have had the privilege of supporting survivors in their most vulnerable moments. This work also gave me valuable insight into the experiences of First Responders—their strength, their burden, and their need for ongoing support. Today, I am deeply passionate about offering trauma therapy for both those directly impacted by traumatic events and those who serve on the front lines.
For those seeking spiritual integration, I offer Christian counselling that honours both your faith and your healing journey. I believe true growth happens when we can bring our whole selves into the process, including our beliefs. It’s a joy and privilege to provide care for my local and church communities through the lens of therapy, offering support that is both clinically grounded and spiritually sensitive.
My clinical interests and experiences include supporting individuals navigating PTSD, C-PTSD, emotionally immature relationships, and complex or developmental trauma. These areas often intersect, and I specialize in helping clients understand and heal from the patterns that keep them stuck. I also work with chronic pain through Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT).
